Rory Cowan – Part-Time Instructor

Rory Cowan received his MFA in Theater Arts from California State University, Long Beach. He holds a BA in English Literature with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Southern California. Over the last twenty years Rory has performed at Cypress College, Golden West College, Orange Coast College, and was a member of the California Repertory Company in Long Beach. Recently, Rory has performed in several productions at The Garage Theater and the Alive Theater, both based in Long Beach. Some of his favorite productions include The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Lucia Mad, Killer Joe, Panama, Shakespeare 72, The Dante Club, Pilgrims, and The Crucible. Rory is also a musician, and was recently the Musical Director for The Garage Theater’s production of Cannibal: The Musical. Rory is also proud to be an instructor in the Music & Theater Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts in Santa Ana.
