Giselle is frequently called “The Masterpiece of Romantic Ballet”. Giselle is a tragic love story with a vibrant and energetic first act which is contrasted by the beauty and intensity of the second act featuring the well-known dance of the Wilis. This ballet has been performed by major ballet companies all over the world since its premiere in 1842. Ballet Repertory Theatre first performed the ballet in 1979, continuing through 1991. We are excited to bring this beautiful full-length ballet back to the stage with Guest Artist, Kathryn Morgan performing the title role.
