GWC Theater Arts presents the Tony Award-Winning Musical The Secret Garden

Huntington Beach, CA – The Golden West College Theater Arts Department, under the direction of Martie Ramm, is proud to present the enchanting musical The Secret Garden. Winner of three Tony Awards and three Drama Desk Awards, this timeless production will grace the stage at the Golden West College Mainstage Theater from April 25 – May 4.

Based on Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved novel, The Secret Garden features a captivating book and lyrics by Marsha Norman and a mesmerizing score by Lucy Simon. Audiences will be transported to a world of mystery and transformation as they follow young Mary Lennox, an orphan sent to live with her reclusive uncle in Yorkshire. Amidst the gloom of her new home, Mary discovers a long-lost garden and, in nurturing it back to life, unlocks the healing power of love and renewal for herself and those around her.

Starring Elizabeth Last and Bellami Soleil Smith as Mary, with Ellie Liu and Annalise Steele as Colin, the production also features Mary Frances Conover as Lily, Jay Harbison as Archibald, Joey Nestra-West as Dickon, Gabrielle Gauthier as Martha, and Steve De Forest as Neville. With a cast of 27 talented performers and a live orchestra of 20 musicians, this production promises to deliver a breathtaking theatrical experience.
